Conflicted is a fantasy-football companion that pulls your leagues together from ESPN, Yahoo, and Sleeper into one view, so you can see where your rosters help you and where they fight each other. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted.
This Privacy Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Use.
The short version. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not share your fantasy data with anyone. You can use Conflicted without an account. If you make one, you can delete it — and everything attached to it — from inside the app at any time.
Conflicted is operated by Courtney Fryer, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as Conflicted Sports ("Conflicted," "we," "us," or "our"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers the Conflicted website, progressive web app (PWA), and any related services we operate (together, the "Service"). It does not cover ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper, or any other third-party service you connect to or reach through Conflicted — those are governed by their own privacy policies.
The Service is intended for users 13 years of age or older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, email ConflictedApp@gmail.com and we will delete the account and associated data promptly. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your state, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We never receive or store your ESPN, Yahoo, or Sleeper password.
When you connect a platform, we retrieve fantasy data on your behalf: league IDs and names, team and manager names, rosters, lineups, matchups, scores, and season/week metadata. This is used to render your views and, where you have an account, to keep your leagues in sync across your devices.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identifiers, financial account or payment card numbers, precise geolocation, biometric or genetic identifiers, health information, or any other category of sensitive personal information. Conflicted is free, so we do not process payments at all.
We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use your fantasy data to train machine-learning models offered to third parties.

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our instructions, and only as needed to run the Service. Each is bound by contract to protect it and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information: (a) to comply with law, subpoena, or valid legal process; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use or investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents; (c) to protect the rights, property, or safety of Conflicted, our users, or the public; and (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets — in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy or give you notice and a chance to delete your data first.
Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of — but we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar universal opt-out signals as an opt-out request wherever state law recognizes them.
We use only what the Service needs to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, ad pixels, or cross-site trackers.

You can clear cookies and site data through your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out and disconnect any platform connections stored only on that device.
Conflicted is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper, the National Football League, or any of their affiliates. When you connect a platform, you authorize us to access your data on that platform on your behalf. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their terms and privacy policies, and we have no control over how they handle your information. You may disconnect any platform from within the app at any time.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping access to your email account and device secure.

We may retain information longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. We extend the core rights below to all users regardless of location:
EEA/UK users additionally have the right to restrict or object to processing and to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
In the app (fastest):
By email: Send your request to ConflictedApp@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We use that to verify identity; for sensitive requests we may ask you to confirm via a one-time link. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days, extendable once by another 45 days with notice.
Authorized agents: An agent may submit a request on your behalf with written, signed permission. We may ask you to verify your identity directly.
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA: identifiers (email, name, IP address, device identifiers), commercial/usage information (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(o)(1)(D)–(F): interactions with the Service), and inferences (only insofar as feature-usage patterns are inferred). Sources, purposes, and recipients are described in Sections 4, 5, and 7.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, so there is no right to limit its use. We do not sell or share personal information. We have not, in the preceding 12 months, disclosed personal information for a business purpose other than to the service providers listed in Section 7.
Shine the Light: We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Conflicted is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required for transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
If we become aware of a breach of the security of the system involving your personal information, we will notify you and, where required, the appropriate authorities, in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay — consistent with the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (815 ILCS 530) and any other law that applies to you.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide prominent notice in the app or by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
